Xiaomi mi note 2 impressions!
This is Xiaomi's classy new device that's the successor to the mi note. The Xiaomi mi note 2 offers the usual: great specs for a relatively reasonable price. There are two variants as of now and these are my first impressions of the 'global' version Xiaomi mi note 2.
The phone has beautiful curve glass on both sides. Xiaomi calls it 3d glass and this design reminds me a lot of the note 7. The front houses a 5.7 inch 1080p OLED display. Though the resolution isn't one of those crazy high rez QHD panels, it's still pretty good as it's OLED. The back has the same recessed camera and that same clean look from the mi MIX. Overall it's a great looking device, an undoubted head turner.

Powering this thing is the new quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz along with 6 GB RAM on this global variant. There's also 128 GB of non expandable storage onboard. The fingerprint sensor is a physical home button up front, like on the mi 5 and common Samsung devices.
There's a 22 mp rear camera and an 8 mp front snapper. Camera quality seems excellent on first look. The phone runs on a 4070 mAh battery unit that's capable of fast charging via a USB type C port. The device is running on Android marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top. It's pretty smooth and snazzy as of now, but let's see how it fares heavy usage later on.

The Xiaomi mi note 2 is available for preorders at $530 for 128 GB variant. That puts it right against the galaxy S7 edge, one of the best flagships of 2016. I will definitely follow this phone up with a review, so do check back soon. After looking at a phone that closely resembles the note 7, I'm sure you're as interested as I am🤓.
