ZTE Nubia N1 review
Nubia, a ZTE sub-brand has released another phone in their N lineup on July 4th. The Nubia N1 smartphone is a selfie centric device and is said to pack a lot for the price. Let's find out in this ZTE Nubia N1 review.
Design: No need of any special mentions about the excellent build quality, right? Every phone aims at being the prettiest these days. So does the N1 with its shiny aluminium unibody and slight chamfers around the edges and corners. The phone weighs 170gm with the mega battery which I'll specify below.
Display: The phone is rocking a 5.5' 1080p IPS LCD panel with 401ppi. The display is quite vivid and bright but seems to exhibit a slight warmer tone of colors. You won't notice it on its own. But you can certainly see it against a white surface. Other than that, there is nothing much to complain, as the IPS LCD panel produces great contrast with wide viewing angles.
Performance: The phone runs on a power saving chipset, the Mediatek helio P10 true octacore processor with 4 cores clocked at 2GHz and another 4 clocked at 1.2GHz. It's coupled with a Mali MP T860 GPU and 3GB of DDR4 RAM. Specs are definitely top notch and the Nubia UI ensures that the experience remains smooth. The UI, running on top of Android marshmallow, has come a long way from its early iterations of bugs and glitches. The phone ditches some of it's aggressive UI elements while retaining it's differentiating factors from other phones.
By the way, the phone has 64GB of onboard storage expandable upto 128GB via microSD card. The phone is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the rear. It's fast and accurately recognises your finger almost every time. No issues there.👍
Camera: The phone has a 13mp camera on the rear and the front as well. It's a CMOS sensor and f/2.2 aperture. Colors are great with a bit more saturation than usual, and clarity is quite good well. Selfies lovers will certainly appreciate the optics on the Nubia N1.
Battery: This is another mighty aspect of the phone. The phone comes with a gigantic 5000mAh battery. No doubt standby time is great, but so is the screen-on time, thanks to that battery saving Helio P10 processor. Knock yourself out, power users!😂😃.
Price: The phone retails for 17,999 INR. A powerful processor, great selfie cam and amazing battery; if you're into these and don't care a lot about the UI and screen tones, this purchase is a no brainer!😎👍
